WHERE DO MY DONATIONS GO?
Your generosity matters. Here are some specific ways your funds make a difference.
ADMINISTRATION & OPERATIONS & FUNDRAISING - THE MOSAIC INITIATIVE is a young nonprofit organization and has many start-up expenses and basic overhead costs (i.e. accounting software, telephone, marketing, website, administrative & fundraising cost etc.) that enable us to fulfill our mission and operate at our highest capacity. However, our main focus of course is our ongoing projects and work. We’ve listed our current projects below that your gift will go to support! While we are primarily donor driven, we have started an online fair trade store to help build sustainability and grow ongoing revenue.
Rescue & Recovery Operations
We currently fund Rescue & Recovery Operations of minors being sex trafficked in India. Each operation cost approximately $600-$700 to execute, but can vary case to case. We accomplish this through our growing partnership with Transforming Lives Foundation, India.
Human Trafficking Documentary
In partnership with Red Rope Movement International we have embarked on our most ambitious project yet- a full length documentary. This documentary is a massive collaborative effort where we captured the stories of countless NGO’s, Government workers, Police & survivors and their moving stories of the anti-trafficking movement in India.
Partnership Development
A large part of what we do is within our partnerships. We are proud to have partners and prospective partnerships all over the globe. In order for these partnerships to grow and relationships to form there’s often a need to visit their ministries on-site. It is important to us to make sure we are investing our efforts and energies into legitimate ministries that share our values. This ensures your funds are going to quality work with quality organizations. Your generosity provides opportunities for us to grow, to collaborate on-site, and to measure the impact of our efforts in content development and distribution.
Local Projects
Local Projects- We are passionate about sourcing and connecting expertise in our field and bringing that knowledge to our area. We long to see our Southern Illinois community reach a new standard of excellence in sexual abuse and trafficking prevention/detection. Our strategy is to facilitate training events with organizations that have expertise in specialized areas. Within the next year, we hope to host trainings with these educators focused on equipping and empowering Law Enforcement, Foster Families, and the Faith Community.
